Latest news – April 2007

Whilst checking out what’s happening in the world on yahoo news, I found an article about the UK’s biggest teacher’s union attacking stores such as Tesco and Asda, claiming they are pressuring kids to grow up too quick. Intrigued I decided to read it. You can read the report too by selecting “news articles” found at the top of the page. Be warned especially if your a parent, the report may shock you or anger you at how irresponsible these stores are, or if your anything like me and know what our society is like, then you won’t be at all surprised.

In my opinion the stores aren’t just  pressurising kids to grow up quick, they are also sexualising them, I mean come on, selling push up bras for 9 year old girls and pole dancing kits! What’s next??
