Films depicting violent sex acts have now become the new form of entertainment where women are abused, raped and tortured. Critics have dubbed these films as “torture porn”. The sick people who like to glorify such brutal acts are people like Quentin Tarantino, who is notorious for his very graphic and macabre “work”. He shows such scenes as entertainment and stands by his creation, stating how proud he is of his work. RAPE, TORTURE and VIOLENCE towards a woman is nothing to be proud of! Even if it’s acted out in the film, and not really happening, in reality it happens every second of the day to innocent women.
Domestic Violence
The reality is…
- 1 in 4 women will experience domestic violence within their lifetime.
- Every minute in the UK, the Police receive calls about domestic violence.
- Domestic violence is the biggest killer of young women under the age of 44 in the UK.
- Up to 10 suicides every week are linked to domestic violence.
- On average, women are abused 35 times before reporting it.
Rape
The reality is…
- 1 in 4 women have experienced rape or attempted rape.
It sickens me that such people like to make rape and torture of women famous and to glorify it as though its entertainment. Its wrong and its sick!

Yep, It has come to this. The world has gone mad. I can’t bear that Tarantino is touted as being so ‘cool’ and a ‘great’ director, when he quite obviously enjoys using violence against women as entertainment.
I mean, for Planet Terror, he even had no problem with marketing a doll called ‘Rapist No 1′ to children – and then he produces it on chat shows and laughs about it. Yeah, because we all know how funny rape is, don’t we.
It’s gone beyond a joke, it really has. And when you dare to say something about it, your ‘over-reacting’ or and ‘extremist’ (as I have been called.)
Makes me sick too. x
